Family Advocates are trained community volunteers passionate about seeing birth parents heal their families. Family advocacy is a one-on-one, relational intervention. One hour per week for six months, a Family Advocate meets with a parent whose child has been removed to give emotional support, provide a bridge back to community, and work together to complete the treatment plan. Healthy families are our best shot to break the harmful cycles of foster care. When birth parents succeed, everyone wins.
